Carson Thomas: You're almost 1 month old!!

Well starting now i'm going to be writing the post geared more towards Carson, I want him (and myself) to know what was going on and for the blog to be for him. I think it will be really fun to go back and see what he was doing when he was a baby.

It's been a while since I last updated the blog, but its hard to hold you, feed you, and type all at the same time :) We are defiantly enjoying our time together. I can say that I never want to go back to work but sadly I will have to. :( but it helps to know that I will be leaving you in good hands(almost always in her arms actually) with Grammy Carol. If you were going to get spoiled you would defiantly be by now, I think the time you spend in your bassinet at night is the most time you spend not being hold, but that's ok because you only wake us up to eat and go right back to bed. Mom & Dad sure can't complain about that!

At ONE month old you are:

- At your three week appointment you weighed 10lbs 3oz (60%), and were 22inches long (70%).

- You can focus your eyes when we talk to you.
-Daddy says you love to look at the ceiling and walls...which is true you look around a lot :)

- Looking around when familiar voices are heard (especially mommy, daddy, and grammy carol)

- Eating 3 oz every couple hours during the day, (its very hard for you to stay awake to eat al 3 oz at once) but sometimes an extra oz within an hour

- Eating 3 oz every 3-3.5 hours at night and sleeping in between.

- Wearing size 0-3 months clothes, newborn outfits were outgrown within the first week.

-Trying very hard to hold your head up for longer periods of time, you can do it for a little bit get tired, but you keep trying.

- You love laying on your belly.
- You can roll from your belly to your side, then back, if you are pushing off of mommy or daddy's hand with your feet.
-Your very active you move your head lots, and kick and punch, your are going to be a handful!
- You don't mind being in your car seat either, actually you are a pretty good shopping buddy because you sleep almost the whole time your in your seat, and your good in the car too.

- You don't mind Bath time one bit.

- You also are getting much better about not crying while being changed!

- Awake time is usually about 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours at night, although its becoming more and more.

- You are VERY impatient, when you are hungry you are hungry RIGHT now.

- You make lots of funny faces, but every single one is just as cute as the next!

- Most importantly you are PERFECT, we love you more and more everyday.
